The Springfield Township Women’s Club (STWC) is built on dedication and service to the community. This attitude sets a precedent for commitment to maintaining standards of excellence and promoting personal growth and community development.
We were organized in 1969 under our own charter. Bylaws and Standing Rules have been in effect since September 1969 and are regularly reviewed and updated.
The aims of STWC are directed toward promoting good fellowship among its members through community service, intellectual endeavors, and social activities.
Our success is important to each member. Each woman is unique in her efforts and appreciated for her time, talents, and achievements. We know what is expected for each accomplishment, and we depend on each other, knowing our goals will be reached together.
We are a group of loyal, industrious, vigorous women who are interested in our community and serving the people of the Springfield-Lakemore area.
STWC is an independent, nonprofit, nonsectarian, nonpartisan organization.
Our fundraising efforts enable us to assist the community in many areas. Over the years we have assisted the Springfield and Lakemore Fire and Police Departments, The Springfield Senior Center, the Springfield Local Schools, the Battered Women’s Shelter, the Haven of Rest Rescue Mission, the American Red Cross, the Salvation Army, and the Springfield Cares Program.
